Destination

Welcome to Minneapolis, MN!

Join us in the twin cities for the 2025 conference of G4thering! Nestled amid the enchanting landscapes of Minnesota, Minneapolis is a thriving blend of culture, cuisine, and natural beauty.

The name “Minneapolis” itself reflects the deep connection to water, with “mni” from the Dakota language signifying “water” and “polis” from Greek meaning “city”. This unique fusion encapsulates the essence of the city, where the Mississippi River and the charm of 22 lakes shape the way of life, offering both leisure and economic opportunities for generations.
In Minneapolis, you’ll often encounter the phrase “Minnesota Nice” spoken in various languages. Since its founding in 1850, the city has welcomed people from across the globe, enriching the culture with diversity and a commitment to social justice. Today, nearly half a million residents proudly call Minneapolis home, drawn by a robust public university system, neighborhoods teeming with character, and a shared loved for biking, breweries, and the famously delicious Juicy Lucy burgers.

Minneapolis offers an abundance of award-winning restaurants, captivating performances, exhilarating sporting events, shopping havens, and picturesque parks and lakes to ensure your visit is filled with endless entertainment.
